Do you write patterns in US or UK terminology?

All Bowtykes patterns are written in US (American) terminology.

In which languages are Bowtykes patterns written?

Bowtykes patterns are only written in American English and I am unable to translate them at this time.

May I sell the items I make from Bowtykes patterns?

Yes!!! Go ahead and sell the items you make from my patterns. If you sell online, a link to my Ravelry, Craftsy, or Etsy shop where you purchased the pattern would be appreciated. Please do not use my pictures to sell your items as this is not a representation of your own work. Also do not sell or share the pattern itself.

Are Bowtykes patterns tested by crocheters before they are published?

Yes. All Bowtykes patterns are tested by multiple crocheters, of various skill levels, before they are published. Every care is taken to ensure the pattern is accurate, size appropriate, and easy to follow. However, please let me know if you have any problems or questions.

May I help test Bowtykes patterns?

I test my patterns in the group DC2TOG that I share with the talented designer Thomasina Cummings. Please read through the Testing Rules and Expectations before signing up for a test. People who have great project pages with nice pictures will be asked to test before those who do not.

I am stuck on part of a Bowtykes pattern and need help! What do I do?

Please contact me through email, Etsy, or Ravelry. Including information such as the pattern you are working on, which part of the pattern is giving you trouble, and purchase information such as a PayPal transaction ID or Etsy invoice number is always helpful.

I purchased from Etsy and I am having trouble downloading the pattern; can you help?

Please send me a message on Etsy (going through your receipt using the “contact seller” button works great because it includes your email and invoice) and I can send you another copy via Ravelry instead. You will need to click on the link provided in the email sent by Ravelry.
